My last message to you all was back on the 22 of December. I
hope you all are having a fantastic holiday season. I took
Christmas day off, but besides that I have been here working
for our success.

The co-op is almost fully distributed. Out of our $12,000 we
have $3,000 left to distribute. This will be finished within
the week.

Members of the co-op expect to receive traffic leads and
sign ups from your share purchase through January as well as
our paid ads have not been fully delivered as of yet.

Our team growth has remained string through the holiday
season. We had a slow day on Christmas as is to be expected
with only 4 new team members joining, but we made up for it
handsomely the day after with 22 new members of the team.

Over the past 5 days we have grown by 67 people. Not bad for
the slow time of the year.

2006 is going to be an extremely strong year for us. I am
putting together plans and taking actions to insure this as
we speak.

here is my case about

Using PPC in a different way...

A quick and rather low cost method (thinking ROI) to get new
prospects to your Success University business, is to promote
our methods rather than our business.

Listen...

I know that 97% are struggling out there with their MLM
business, and honestly I want to tap into that market (they
are all listening to the education Success University offers
anyway).

We're talking millions of people (since Success University
is a global opportunity). I have been there myself - hotel
meetings, begging people to come to a presentation, being a
prospecting tool for my former upline rather than an expert
my self and many people are donating money to their company
(why not donate to charity instead?). Success University is
my fourth MLM company - the others didn't do it 'the
Internet way'.

But, what I am doing is, I use the viral report for Internet
MLM Success (the free eBook) - and promote that as a method
for building a business, any MLM business. I have only done
it for about one month, so it's difficult to give any
precise data about it, since it has only been tested one
month. But one lead will cost about $2-$3, and there are
some different choices they can make.

1. Get the free report and do nothing (or opt-out)
2. Get the free report and buy the eBook (Daegan has an
affiliate program for that)
3. Get the free report and join Success University because
they realize, that their

company's marketing method is no good. And later on realize
that we have got cooking and become more exited, because
their experiences in the past.

Everything runs with an auto-responder, so I'm not really
using any time on that part. I just try to optimize my
keywords now.

So for example if a Usana distributor (from a personal
standpoint, I have nothing to do with Usana. It is only used
as an example) was searching for Usana on Google, my ad will
show - again promoting the marketing method NOT Success
University...

The ad can look like this

or something like that, this is only quick examples - use
the word/phrases: How To, Find Out, Secrets, Tips, Never
Revealed Until Now... Remember the best way to get people to
want to know more about what you have is to:
1 Promise them something unbelievable (adding 10-15 reps a
day would have been unbelievable to me three months ago, but
Daegan is doing it) or
2. Scare them to death, and then offer them the solution to
their problem.

Data after one month (24 days):

- max. $0.3 per click
- leads 57 leads (240 have been on the page, I use Adminder)
- CTR is 1,4% (I need to make that better, after the first
month of testing),
- 5 sign-ups in Success University
- one has opted-out of my list, but the rest will still get
the broadcasts, when the auto-responder is out of messages.

Best of all is that these Success University students are
networkers before ever even being presented to Success
University. I look very much forward to helping each and
everyone of them with succeeding. Because I have been there
my self, struggling with my previous MLM Business - so I'm
thinking of this campaign as a 'helping hand' for other
networkers.

Creating a long term residual income is a hope and dream for
many and a true reality for a select few, but the questions
I want you to think about is . . . Is creating a long term
residual income a true possibility for you?

We all start our network marketing business based on this
dream. The dream that one day we won't have to work unless
we want to. The dream that all of our financial stresses can
one day be alleviated forever. The dream that one day we
will have all the time we want to live our lives the way we
want.

So the question is . . . Is this just a dream or does the
opportunity to make this a reality in our lives truly exist?

It is a question that we each have to ask yourselves and one
that we can only ultimately find the answer to deep within
ourselves. I have done much research and deep thinking on
this question and I have come to a few realizations that I
will share with you right now.

There are two parts to the equation of creating long term
residual income. One internal and one external and both must
be in alignment for this dream to one day become a reality
in our lives.

Let me start with the internal part of this equation as it
is the more important of the two.

You see the dream of time and income freedom is only a dream
until we make it a reality for ourselves.

In order to make this dream a reality we have to put in the
leg work. We have to learn and we have to grow into the type
of person that is ready to receive the gift of true freedom.

Some fear this process and won't give themselves fully to it
and fail.

What I mean by growing into the person one must be to become
truly free is this:

First we have to identify the path we want to take to this
freedom with an analytic eye. There are many paths, but as I
am sure you know some are quicker and less laborious than
others.

Once you've weighed your options you must make it your heart
intent to follow that path to its completion.

You must put the "binders on".

Every step of the way . . .

Fear, doubt, and negativity will creep into your mind.

You must learn to block them out and hold steady on your
path because you know it is your chosen path to prosperity.
Then you must learn, test and do everything possible to
attain your goal one day at a time.

Along with this process you must use your own powers of
creativity to carve your personal path to prosperity.

You see everything you learn you must test and as you will
see as you learn you will see opportunities for your own
unique improvements. Test them and use them. You must make
your own mark along the way.

The same principles of success apply to us all, but as you
walk the path you will see that along the way you're
actually creating your own unique path.

The reason that your path will be unique is for the simple
fact that you are unique. Your skill and proclivities are
yours alone and thus so will your path be.

If you can take on your cause without fear and with the full
power of your own personal intent then the internal part of
the residual income equation is as good as done.

Now for the external part of residual income equation:

I write this to you after reading a special report by a man
named Lou Abbot. Reading his report caused me to take pause.
I took an hour last night to do some deep consideration of
the tools and the business opportunity that we have been
given by Matt Morris.

If you are reading this right now then you have already
chosen network marketing as your path to prosperity and
freedom, and a smart choice you have made.

There is no other method on Earth with the power to create
long term residual income and huge wealth in a relatively
short period of time and energy.

But,

Even within network marketing not all opportunities are
created equal. You can put in all the leg work and do
everything right and still fail if you don't first realize a
few important facts.

Some opportunities can lead to huge checks quickly that end
up dying out just as quickly.

Other opportunities offer the opportunity to create long
term residual income that can last a life time. Success
University is of the later variety.

In order for an opportunity to create a real opportunity to
generate true long term income certain pieces of the puzzle
must be alignment.

Let's discuss these pieces . . .

" The company must be financial strong. Success University

tell you that they are all people of integrity, they have a
vast knowledge of network marketing, and they have a

I haven't sent out a team message in a few days, but it's
only because I've been hard at work growing our business.

First let me take a second to formally introduce myself.

My name is Daegan Smith. I was born one September 8, 1980 in
Washington DC. I may make some of you basketball fans out
there upset, but I attended Duke University and I received a
BS is Pharmacology and a minor in Chemistry. I wrestled in
both high school and college.

Besides her and my family you and Success University are my

Introductions aside . . .

I am almost finished with placing our team's solo ads. They

Along with this I've had 175 articles commissioned to be
written for us this month. We will be everywhere online as
we keep up this sort of web presence.

We are setting up a system that will generate traffic
perpetually into the future.

Next on the agenda will be PPC and our secret weapon.

I've hired a professionally qualified Adwords coach to
insure we maximize this as an opportunity and we can
continue it at highly levels into the foreseeable future.

I will work on this project for the rest of the month, but
in the mean time I have a secret weapon to discuss with you
all.

I had the opportunity to speak with Rachel Long last week to
discuss what she's doing to create such success.. She is
Success University's top recruiter. She alone has recruited
over 650 people.

650 people! That's off the scale. No one does that!

By the way Bernard Assayas. Success University's top
recruiter for last month recruited 175 people and he did it
by following Rachel's method. Along with this it was a big
topic at the Success University Advisory meeting this week
because of it's powerful effectiveness.

She told me her secret. (Here mistake)

So I'm going to tell you.

It's so simple.

We are using it for this month's co-op and every co-op there
after, but for those you who are leaders in your own right I
want to give this method to you as well.

Truth be told, I prefer Aweber over Getresponse, but that's
besides the point.

Getresponse has an option for you to buy leads in there back
office to be automatically added to your autoresponder. You
can order them in varying quantities. As far as the co-op is
concerned we are will be going to the top!

All Rachel does is she order leads and then has them added
to her autoresponder to be followed up with over 30 days
continuously. She orders 500 lead a day and has them added
to her autoresponder and as a result of her follow up system
she gets loads of sign ups for it.

Simple and effective to say the least.

But . . . It's not cheap.

I've done a test run with co-op and the result are very very

I offer this piece of valuable information to all of you.

Other than that . . .

I have heard a few emails with questions about retention.
Retention is about 60% which is very good, but I have put to

that I no longer want or need.

things that I am involved with.

You go out and you buy a new computer and you expect
everything to be fine and a invariably a month later it
breaks down.

Now of course you have a warranty for that, but you've also
generated a whole lot of hassle for yourself.

I mean . . .

You have to deal with getting the thing fixed, you deal with
shipping it, and you have to deal with following with the
support department to get updates on your "new" computer's
status, then you have to deal with the support putting you
on hold for twenty minutes and then when they do pick up you
have to deal with the fact that can't locate the status of
or your computer.

What a hassle you know?

On the flip side, sometimes you get more. Maybe in the
process of getting that computer fixed you meet your soul
mate on the helpline. That never would have happened if you
hadn't bought that new computer.

All I mean to say is you never know what you're going to get
when you begin a new path or start something new in your
life for better or worse.

I think about things like this when I think about my network
marketing business today. I never would have thought, when
two years ago, I dreamed of a better future through network
marketing and then had to go through the ringer that I ever
would be sitting the position that I am now.

I never would have found Success University if I hadn't gone
through everything else in my life and with network
marketing that lead up to that fateful day when I found E.K.
Gann's Success University link in an online forum.

I am so appreciative of everything that we have done to this
point at Success University that it truly fills my heart
with joy. But this never would have happened if I gave up
somewhere along the line.

I listened to Earl Nightingales "Lead the Field" today while
driving in my car and he said something that really hit
home. He said nothing can stop a person with a definite goal

We currently have over 860 people on the team and the co-op
is moving along smoothly.

I have been placing ads for about the past week for the co-
op and we are about 50% spent.

I plan on updating the team on the co-ops ad placement next
week.

Also, toward the end of next week I plan on holding our teams
first online teleconference so that we can all meet and
greet and troubleshoot together.

I know that you have many many questions and I want to
answer them in a format that can benefit the entire team so
we will start holding weekly teleconference. I'm even toying
with the idea of starting our own team SU presentations to
educate our prospects on our teams marketing tactics and
tools.

How to get Free Traffic and Sign ups From Online Forums

Here is a free system to get free traffic and sign ups using
online forums.

Forum's are simply places where like minded people congregate
to discuss a shared topic of interest. For our purposes we will
want to interact in home business, internet marketing, and
network marketing forums.

I think forum marketing is one of the easiest and most fun
ways to market your business online.

Why?

Because you're not really marketing you're just
taking part in the natural conversations that take place
while also leaving what is known as a "signature" with a link
to your lead capture page along the way.

Here is the best part . . .

Every time you make a post in a forum you get to leave
another signature which means you get to leave another link
to your lead capture page. It doesn't take very long for
these links to add up and for you to generate a significant
amount of traffic to your site.

But . . .

One thing with forums is you have to be consistent. You have
to interact every day to see significant success. But once
you do start to see some success it will only compound over
the course of time.

Let me take you through the exact steps of an effective
forum marketing campaign for your Success University
business. (Ohh, don't worry . . . I'm also going to provide
you with an ample list of forums to use the following
strategy to get you started . . . )

Step 1: Find 5 Forums that you want to interact in.

Research the list that I am going to provide you here and
also do a Google search for the term home business + forum,
internet marketing + forum, network marketing + forum, work
at home + forum, mlm + forum, etc . .

Find 5 that you like.

Try to pick a variety of topics so that you are able to
interact and learn about many different marketing
disciplines involved with running your Success University
business.

One word of advice is you should make sure that the forum is
active.

Look at the dates and times on the post that have been made
in the forum. If it looks like no one has made a post in a
particular forum in the last couple of days I wouldn't
consider it a good forum to interact in.

Step 2: Register as a member in your 5 favorite forums

You will find a link in most forums that say either
"register" or "sign up". Just click this link and fill out
your appropriate information.

Be sure to bookmark your chosen forums.

Step 3: Create your ALL important signature file!

When you are signing up for your favorite forums you will
see a box that says "signature file". This is where you
input your all important ad and link!

Some forums may look active, but you will only be able to
see if people are actively clicking on your links if you are

Click on the link marked "Ad Tracking" and get your ad
tracking campaign set up.

Step 4: The fun part!

Now that you're all set up and you can track all the free
traffic that you are generating it's time to hit the forums
and just take part.

In each forum that you are a part of make it a point to make
3 posts a day and do this for one full month.

At the end of that time period you will have created 450
direct links to your site all free of charge and all static.
You will receive free traffic for an extended period of time
for these efforts and I'm sure you'll get more than a few good
sign ups and make a few friends.

Let's talk about expectations for a second . . .

I know after reading this message you're going to be pumped
up about getting out to the forums and making your mark and
you should be. Forum marketing as I said before is effective
if done consistently. Set a regimen and stick to it
regardless of the immediate outcome.

This method will work, but not if you stop two weeks into it
because it's not working fast enough to meet your
expectations. Set no expectations, and just follow your
regimen. Only after a complete month of true consistent
activity should you stop to asses your results.

I'm telling you this from experience. Make your daily
interactions in forums part of your regular marketing
routine and I guarantee you will find success.

Before I say anything else I must say that I am completely
blown away by the extremely fast growth of our team. It's
only been a little over 3 months and our team is approaching
700 people - 694 to be exact.

Wow!

Since our last co-op our team has grown by over 200 hundred

what they would be worth in a quick pay setting and then
working from there.

To be honest this explanation was a little shortsighted, so
let me correct my mistake while offering you the proper
paradigm for determining the value of your team members as
your team grows.

Instead of thinking of your team members in terms of a short
term pay out the more accurate way to view the value of your
sign ups it to think of them in terms of their lifetime
value.

What does "lifetime value" mean and how can you calculate
it?

We will use the Success University compensation structure as
well as my personal result to figure this out.

For every 12 people in your organization you will make $80
per month. For one year each person is going to be worth
$80 a piece to you.

Here's the math . . .

$80 x 12 months = $960 year

$960 year / 12 people = $80 a year / person

But based on my personal figures we can take this a little
further . . .

Out of my 72 signs ups 19 went out and duplicated my
success.

I have a 26% rate of duplication.

That will mean for every 12 people 3 will go out and get
more people. The truth is combined they went out and at
least got the same number of people as a combined group.

For recruiting 12 people I was getting paid for 48!

That means I was now getting three times what I originally
was getting because of the duplication factor.

My numbers change to $320 for every 12 people 1 enrolled
(Because you are getting paid for 48 which is 4 x $80)

$320 x 12 months = $3840 year

$3840 a year / 12 people = $320 year / person

So . . . you can really say that the real life time value
of a student in your organization based on one year's
membership is $320 in an ideal world.

(That's just calculating one level deep)

Now people drop out and some produce more than other so of
course you want give yourself a buffer in terms of how much
each new team member is worth.

Well, even if you want to play conservative and cut this
value in half. The lifetime value of a student in your
organization is still going to be $160 a year which is not
bad at all.

I bet you never thought that your sign ups could be so
valuable did you?

Well you should.

Think from this perspective when doing your prospecting
online or off and you will make millions in network
marketing I promise you.

Think about it . . .

If you started a PPC campaign using this value I guarantee
you that you would get a sign up before you hit that cap
every single time.

Luckily for us a lot less. . .

Matt Morris has put together the most efficient business
building system on the planet.

Rough estimates from the team co-op show use getting new
team members for around $8 a piece.

That's 200% below our cap for guaranteed success!

I don't know about you but I'm taking this information
straight to the bank and I'm going to be a recruiting
machine for however long it takes as long as our numbers are
so favorable.

BTW . . .

I know you're probably thinking . . .

"Daegan, I don't have $160 to pay to get one prospect so
what am I supposed to do?"

Simple,

Money is just a way of quantifying productivity. If you
don't have the money up the productivity and you will
receive the same rewards.

There are many free ways to market your business both online
and off. Use them and be highly productive with them and you
will create the same results.

It does not take large amounts of money to have success
here, just a large ambition and a whole lot of productivity.

Take this information to the bank. I promise you I will.

A little personal story for you!

I've been involved with network marketing for the past two
years of my life and when I first told my father that I was
getting into it he immediately chastised me for it.

He had good reason . . .

Someone very close to him and me lost their shirt attempting
to achieve their financial dreams through network marketing.
This experience caused my father a great deal of heartache
and pain. I could tell by how emotionally strong his
response was to my news.

So I listened to his objections and simply said, "But dad .
. . that's not me!" He didn't want any part of it. All he
wanted me to do was cut my "loses" and run the other way.

I left his home that day feeling two things:

1. I knew network marketing worked and he was wrong.
2. I had to keep my business dealing to myself for both of
us.

Fast forward a few years and few experiences later and I had
done just that.

I spent more hours and thought on my network marketing
business than I had on any other part of my life (except
work Clarence :). I haven't learned everything, but I know
quite a bit about the subject of network marketing, and even
more about the subject of internet network marketing.

I hadn't spoken to my father about any of this until last
night.

Until last night he had no idea off all the success our team
has been seeing, but when I finally let him in on what we
were doing guess what he said?

Son . . . I'm proud of you.

To my surprise, I had won a supporter in the toughest of
places.

If you have negative influences in your life, but you know
in your heart what you're doing is right put the blinders on

CASE STUDY FROM WARREN

This is a message from your Success University upline and team
directory Daegan Smith.

[Here is a case study form one of my favorite team leaders!]

I joined Daegan's team on 11th July '05 willing to give it my
best shot for a two week trial period to see how it would go.
In the first 2 days I set up a Google Adwords campaign and set
it loose.

Prospects started signing up on the 4th day - just two
then 4 the next, then 6 and averaged 5-6 a day for the rest
of the trial. On the 8th day I received my first
downline enrollment placed there by someone above me then
one more on the 14th day.

This seemed pretty slow to me. I only had 2 in my
downline at the end of the trial - none of them
personally enrolled and I had been advertising on
Google Adwords flat out for the 14 day free trial - I
had set myself a goal of getting at least one personal
enrollment by the end of the trial period so I felt
pretty discouraged then.

I had had about 50 prospects click on my ads and sign
in to my lead capture page but none had enrolled - so what
did I do - like an idiot I pulled out!

I canceled my enrollment and told Daegan I didn't
think it could work for me - He of course did his best to
dissuade me but I was reluctant to commit any money to it if
it was not going to deliver results.

Well I chewed it over for 8 days - keeping an eye on
what was happening in the team blog - with a growing
feeling that maybe I had been too hasty - On the 7th
day I wrote to Daegan and asked if it was possible to
be reinstated - (when I canceled there was a message
saying "Are you sure this is what you want to do? Do
you want to pull out permanently or at the end of the
month?" Of course I canceled permanently - so I really
didn't expect to get reinstated)

Well to my astonishment they did reinstate me but not
only that - They let me retain my original position and
when I logged back in to my Back Office I found that 10 more
people had been added to my downline while I had been out
and 22 more prospects had logged on at my sign up page !!!

Boy was glad I had come back in - I kicked off my Google ads
again and four days later had my first two personal
enrollments on the same day, then another two days later.
Nine days later I got another. Five days after that one more
then the ad-co-op ads started to kick in.

It was now 22nd of August and I had 5 personal enrollments
and 58 others had been placed in my downline by those above
me. It was exactly 6 weeks since I had joined up.

When the Team Ad co-op ads came on stream I had 5 personal
enrollments in 3 days and another 4 two days later. Since
then I have averaged approximately one new personal
enrollment a day and my downline has grown to 286 at this
point - 6th September - only 8 weeks since joining.

I have drawn a graph of my downline growth over time
and it covers the wall in front of my desk - it starts off
very flat for the first three weeks - remember I was out of
it altogether for the third week - In the 4th week my graph
takes off at an 80 degree angle and heads for the ceiling..

I have run out of wall now so have stopped adding to
it..stapling graph paper to the ceiling gets a bit out
of hand..

Needless to say I am totally committed now to taking
this as far as it can go and with the support of my upline
Daegan it will go far!

Article: 3 Steps To Successfully Build A Team In Any Program

Any x by y matrix plan has one big risk... but also one big
advantage.

The biggest risk: People in your downline might think they don't
have to promote and just wait for your spillover.

The biggest advantage: Still, it's a great way to build a deep
team quick... if you and the people in your team understand that
they shouldn't just sit and wait for it to happen.

The following 3 steps you need to follow and teach to build a
successful team:

1. Find 2 people... It doesn't really matter if it's e.g. a 2x15
forced matrix or wider. If the matrix is wider than 2, or
even unlimited wide, I recommend to start with 2 and then go
wider when your team has been fully build at least 4 levels
deep.

2. Next build a relationship with them, teach them this 3 easy
steps and motivate them until they find 2 people on their
own.

3. Then motivate your 2 people to motivate their 2 people to
also find 2 people ... etc.

I believe this is a much better way to build a successful team.
And not to mass promote and hope that a few in the masses you
sponsor build a team on their own... but instead motivate to
motivate to build the team... all the way down.

If you mass promote... you might be able to initially build a
big downline... but since there will be no relationship, it will
fall apart fast as well.

If you or somebody in your team has a big list of people to
email to, then you or those people could send a message to all,
telling them that you are looking for 2 leaders only. Ask them
to email you back and tell you "why" you should choose them.
Then pick the 2 best ones... and move one with step 2 above.

Also if a downline member is struggling... and no matter how
hard he or she tries, he or she is not able to find two on their
own... e.g. due to lack of people he or she knows... then you
could do such a mailing on their behalf.

The primary approach that works best is to talk via chat first
with the people you know already. Those, that we already have a
relationship with.

If that doesn't generate your 2 leaders... then you could use
the mailing approach looking for two leaders as I described
before.

But what should you tell people during the chat or in the email
message you write to find your two leaders?

This is the point where you need to do your homework. Look very
closely at the program for which you want to build a successful
team for. Answer yourself the following questions:

1. What is the product or service that this program sells?
2. What main benefits does the product or service provide the
customer with?
3. What makes the product or service better then those offered
by the competition?
4. How much does the product or service cost?
5. How does the products compensation plan work?
6. What is necessary to break even and get into profit?

You noticed that I mentioned everything related to money at the
end? Yes, I did order the above list by priority on purpose.

When you answer yourself those questions, keep always in mind to
answer to most elementary question everybody has... which is:

What is in it for me? Also often called WIIFM. Once you learn to
answer that question, you will be easily able to find your two
leaders.

BTW... there is a shortcut to your homework assignment. :)

Ask your sponsor to answer the six questions above... then check
an confirm those answers are accurate and match your own opinion
about the program. This can save you time and strengthen the
relationship with your own sponsor as you work with him together
to answer them.

Tip: There are millions of programs out there on the net and
many people, including me, fall easily prey to start joining too
many at once. The grass always seems to look greener on the
other side. ;)

I live now by the following rule... Earn with two programs
(meaning: be in profit) before you even consider to join one new
one. And I recommend that you too do that.

And better yet, the sales system was the best I've seen.

click advertising and right now after only 3 months my
business has grown to over 503 people.

My jaw dropped when I realized this.

What's your vision?

Do you have a crystal clear vision of where you want your
Success University business to go?

I've come to realize that the MOST important factor that
will determine your overall success with this business is
defining your vision and setting on a path to achieve it.

You can't get anywhere in life unless you know where you're
going . . . right?

Well it's the same thing here. You must have an idea of
where you want your business to go before you can figure out
the directions to get their.

The cool thing is . . . You don't need to define a chiseled
in stone path.

All you need is a general idea of where you want to go and
then the confidence to stick with this idea until it becomes
reality no matter what.

Here's my vision:

When I came across Success University on June 30 of this
year I immediately realized the marketing system and
business opportunity was better than any I had ever seen.

In my opinion, Success University is the Aston Martin of
home businesses. And why drive a Honda when you can have an
Aston Martin?

I've never found a home business that converted 18% of leads
into customers BEFORE personal interaction. If you know
anything about marketing this sort of conversion ratio is
unheard of.

My vision began to form.

I knew without a shadow of doubt that I was going to use
this system and this product to make as much money as I
possibly could by promoting this business online.

So, I set out to do this using all of the knowledge and
resources that I had at my disposal.

In my mind, there was no question that it was only a matter
of time before my vision became reality.

But then something started to happen . . .

I started to have success. I started to enroll people below
me.

I realized that if I was going to be ultimately successful I
had to share with my new students what I had done to create
success, so this made me begin to think . . .

How?

Well in other network marketing organizations that I had
been a part of I always got great upline support from my
immediate sponsor, but it was just support. In reality I had
to go out there and "find" my own way.

I wanted to do better than this for my team. I wanted my
team to know everything that I did and exactly how I did it.
I wanted to make it available so that then their downline
could have access to this information as well.

If I had a success or failure I wanted my you as my downline
to know exactly what it was so that you could benefit from
this information and use it to grow your business faster and
with less hassle than me.

The result of this path of thought is our team's resources
to this point:. blog, eBook, co-op, and me answering emails
until 3 am every day.

This effort has changed my vision.

I don't care about how much money I could make anymore. I
found a vision that has now proven infinitely more powerful
to me.

My vision is to help as many of you attain your visions of
success here at Success University as possible.

I stay up late every night and I wake up really early in the
morning every day and I love doing because I know that I am
helping my team.

The constant question in my head day in and day out is how
can I make this business easier for the folks on my team?

I know I'm not the traditional network marketer and I don't
teach the traditional things, but Success University is not
the traditional network marketing organization it's
something much more so we have to be open to try knew
things.

I want to let you guys have a look at my exact business
stats so that you know what you need to do to
achieve the same level of success that I have so far.

I started my free trial on 6/30/05

Leads: 434

Direct sign ups: 73

Team size: 413

Methods: eZine advertsing, PPC marketing, Forum
marketing, Article Marketing, SOE, Blogging, and
word of mouth.

If you use these same methods and generate the
same number of leads you will have the same sort
of results.

two things . . . 1. I will contribute $150 of my own
money. 2. We are only 9 people away from my goal of

How the Co-op Works:

I've had some questions about this so I want to be as
explicit as possible with how our team co-op works. (By the
way no other team at SU is doing this and it clearly sets up
apart and has led to us being the fastest growing team in
SU)

Purpose of the co-op:

To help those that do no or have not had any experience
network marketing online get off to a strong start or to
supplement your own marketing efforts.

Step 1: Collect Fund

I collect fund from those who want to participate in the
team co-op via paypal or stormpay within a given time period
(i.e. by this Friday)

Step 2: Put lead capture URL from participants on Rotator

I use a program called page swirl to equally divide the
traffic the co-op generates between our participants.

Step 3: I Get to Work

You guys are done for a while at this point the rest of the
work is on me and my team leaders. We create ads and then
research ad spots. When we feel that a certain spot is worth
the investment we will place the ad and then track the
response via ad tracking.

Step 4: Traffic is Generated - The FUN part!

We choose only ad spots that are best suited for our offer
and then tailor an ad specific to that market. Once that ad
runs the traffic is divided up between the members of the
co-op.

Step 5: Follow up with Leads Generated

Once the traffic is generated some of the prospects will be
interested enough to fill in the lead generation page. If
they do, now it's your turn to follow up with them by
sending our team email.

Step 6: The Team Grows

The result of the process is of course your team and our
team as whole grows. Some people have reported up to 5 new
team members, but the average seems to be 3 from our first
ad run. ( This number should increase this go around because
we have more experience with certain ad sources so we know
where to place ads for guaranteed good responses)

Update from last month's Co-op:

Last month we had 25 people in the co-op and $1760 to
advertise with. Before we ran the co-op the team was 197
people. Right now with a few ads still running in last
months co-op we have 413 people on the team. I
conservatively estimate the that co-op accounted for 80 to
100 of those new team members.

Update on this months co-op:

We have 18 people in so far and $1360 for advertising.
Remember my deal. If we get over $1500 I'll ad an extra 10%
to the total amount. And . . . I'm I've got another surprise
about the co-op that I'm going to unveil tomorrow.

nuts)

Ok guys, it's time to quit playing around. Our business is
growing by leaps and bound everyday and it's time that we

Last month our co-op hit all the the major internet marketing,
network marketing, home business, and affiliate marketing
ezines with our message and our results were outstanding.
Our team grew from only 197 people to almost 400! That’s
100% team growth and that’s not bad.

I know not all of you on the team have the expertise to run

that we have not exposed Success University to as of yet. As
far as I know I don't think these newsletters have EVER been
exposed to Success University. So they are prime for our
offer!

To prepare for the run, I have been hard at work
constructing a personal development focused solo ad to use
with these publications.

But that's not all!

Third, this month I want to add a long term traffic generation
aspect to the co-op, If you've had a chance to look at the
team eBook you will see that article marketing and
distribution is the best way to do this.

So, I will begin to research, write, and have written at
least 15 personal development, internet, and network
marketing articles for the co-op that will be widely
distributed across the internet.

This will produce a larger scope of exposure to our business
and it will generate long term traffic to our lead capture
pages.

Let's take this to the next level! As you can see, we as your
team leaders, are out here working hard for you. I’ve personally
never been involved in a co-op as extensive as ours and this has
already set us apart from the rest of Success University.[ So
much so, that Ned Rae, the head excutive trainer here at Success

even President and CEO Matt Morris has taken notice to what we're

A Hero

I want to take a second to step away from Success University
to speak about something a little bit more important.

Hurricane Katrina has devastated many here in the United
States.

So many lives lost, so many lives destroyed, so much
confusion, and so much pain.

It's only in these situations that true heroes emerge.

It's just amazing to see how selfless people can be when
times call for it.

Katrina hits very close to home for me today in a very
special way.

Last night while having a conversation with my father,
out of the blue, he told me that he was going to adopt a
child that his been left orphaned by the hurricane.

I was instantly taken aback.

This, almost 60 year old man, is willing to open his home
and his heart to a new child seemingly on the turn of a dime
simply because the situation needs people like him to step

I'm without words.

I'm proud of him. I've always thought of him as great
father, but now he's more. He's my hero.

I just got finished talking with Ned Rae about
the SU website being down today.

Here's the scoop . . .

Jason and I noticed a few 505 errors in the past.
These were caused when the system was backing up
at 1:15am every night throwing up the 505 error
and shutting of the main server.

They have taken the system down to correct this
problem for good.

We just to have a little patience and faith and
things will be back to normal soon.

I would share the contents of what I shared
with him with the entire team.

have not placed ads with as of yet. I will research
these ezines and develop an ad personally targeted

generate personal development, internet, and
network marketing articles that I will distribute

My biggest mistake this month

Guys,

I just wanted to point out to you all that internet
advertising is much more of an art than a science.
There really is true formula for success except
persistence and desire.

I recently ran a solo ad out of my own funds in a
publication called nova-news.com.

Everything looked good. It was a 100K subscriber list
and all the advertsing testimonials looked extremely
promising.

I tried to email the list owner as I always advice you
all to do. I got no response.

So, I joined the mailing list to see if it was active.
It was. I started receiving the newsletters and they
appeared rather proffessional.

A few days after joining the list I received an email
from the list owner advertising a 2 for 1 solo deal.

I decided to jump on it. I didnit do full due dillegence
but thought the risk I was taking was a calculated one.

The ad cost $197 so it was not cheap by any means.

As soon as I placed our team "create passive income online
- all hype or not" solo ad which I know for a fact does well
and the list owner "magically" began to answer my emails. Hmmm....

He was extremely helpful and placed my ad the very
next day. Hmmm... ( a 100k subscriber ezine and my
ad was placed the following day? - what are the odds
of that? )

Anyways . . .

I know that you all can probably see where I'm going
with this. The list owner sent out the ad and I got
42 click throughs (which I know because I always track
my ads via adminder ad tracking) this averaged out to
$4.69 a click.

I consider a cost per click for ezine solo ads of $.60
or below as worth the cost. $4.69 was a little higher
than that. And for a list of 100k - if this list was any
good I would have received something on the order of at
least 500 clicks. So, I know something was fishy.

I emailed the list owner about the extremely low response
to my ad and guess what . . .

He never replied.

So their are two lessons that I want to teach you all with
this story . . .

1. Some people are crooks and will lie about how great their
advertising source is.

2. Always do your do dillegence no matter how much of a slam
dunk you think a certain advertising campaign will be. So,
if you ask the ad source provider for information via email
or phone and they don't respond - DO NOT PLACE THE AD!

Well, unless you wanna make stupid mistakes like me.

How to easily get your first 3 - 5 sign ups!

Ezine Advertising via Solo Ads:

What are ezines?

Ezines are online newsletter that people subscriber to
because they have an interest in the subject matter
described in the newsletter.

Which ezines will we target?

We want to advertise in ezines that target home business
entrepreneurs, network marketers, biz opp seekers, internet
marketers, and affiliate marketers. These are the people
that are actively interested in making money online and will
see the most value in what we are offering.

The Directory Of Ezines is the Resource that I use for this.

What type of ad do we want to place?

There are two ways to go about this, the fast way and the
slow way. To go about this the slow way we would
first place a small classified ad in the ezine that we plan
to target our solo mailings. We would then track our
response to see if a larger ad is warranted.

This method works well with direct marketing online because
it decreases risk, but it drastically increase the time
frame until we see our most wanted response - sign ups,
because we have to wait and track responses at each step.

The fast way: I have been using a faster and a little bit
more risky method. What I do is I call the list owner to ask
about their lists to try to get a feel if it is a good
match
for our ad.

Here is what you want to find out:

How many mailing do they send out a week?

You don't want to send an ad to an ezine that sends out more
than 2 solo ads a week because most likely no one will read
them.

How many new subscribers do the ezines get in a month?

You want an ezine that gets a steady flow of new
subscribers.

Have similar ads to yours for your same business run in the
recent past?

You don't want to advertise in an ezine that has had Success
University ads run in the past month or so.

Does the ezine owner have a list of references?

You may even want to ask if the ezine owner can provide you
with a short list of reference that you can contact to see
what there response rates have been like for that
particular ezine.

Is there a newsletter archive that you can take a look at?

Since you're going to be running the ad you want to see the
layout of the ezine so you know how your ad will look. You’ll
be able to instantly see how well it will stand out.

Bonus Tip: Ask for an endorsement

Ask the ezine owner if they will ad a couple short sentences
to endorse your ad. If they will do this it will greatly
increase your response rate.

Ask them to include something like . . .

This is "list owner", the following message is from "you" a
good friend and accomplished Internet network marketer.
Please pay very close attention to the following time
sensitive
message.

What do you do next?

After you've done your homework you will want to go ahead
and place your solo ad. Place about 3 or 4 at a time and be
sure to track your click through rates. If you don't track
your responses you won't know if your ad is a dud or not.

For example if you place a $50 ad and you only get 40 click
thrus, but you get 5 sign ups that's NOT a dud. You didn't
get many click thrus but you got your most wanted response
sign ups.

On the other hand, if you place a $25 ad and you only get 5
click thrus that ezine is a dud no matter what.

By the way, you cannot directly track which ads are bringing
you sign ups because you are promoting a network marketing
corporate site, so you don't have control over whether or
not you can change certain aspects of the site.

However, you will be able to make strong inferences based on
WHEN your ads are placed. Most of my sign ups come within a
day or two after placing the ad, so you assume that any
sign ups that come within a day or two after placing an ad
are a direct result of that ad.

You will see when you place your ezine ads that they will
most likely not ALL be running on the same day, so use this
piece of knowledge as a point of reference for your
responses.

How do you track your ads?

(THIS IS CRUCIAL TO YOUR LONG TERM SUCCESS)

Here is what I do and I urge you to do the same. Use a good
online ad tracking program. I use Adminder and you can
sign up for a two week free trail.

What do you do after placing the ad?

Make sure you use your tracking links and then send me an
email letting me know which ezines you decided to place your
ads in so I can keep the team updated on the blog.

Then wait for your ad to run and track your results.

Wrap up:

Place Solo Ads with appropriate ezines.
Time frame: Ongoing - starting today

Just keep doing this until you either run out of ezines or
the ad doesn't pull any responses anymore.
